Travelling by Car
Coming from Germany or eastern Austria: Munich/Salzburg on the A8 until Rosenheim, then the A94 towards Kufstein, then leave the Autobahn at Oberaudorf (or the A8 at Bernau/Reit im Winkl) and take the B172 towards Kössen, Walchsee, Schwendt and Rettenschöss. This route means you can avoid the Austrian road toll.
